ALS was born in 1997 as a spin-out division of ENVOY Corporation, to focus on license sales automation and other government automation possibilities. From an original staff in 1997 of 17 housed in less than 3000 sq. ft, ALS has grown to over 200 employees working in a 25,000 sq. ft. custom-built, state-of-the-art technology facility with a 10,000 sq. ft. warehouse facility about 3 miles from our headquarters.

The Nashville Chamber of Commerce has also honored ALS as one of "Music City's Future 50" companies in 2000, 2001 and again in 2002.
