Customer Service Representative
ALS Description

Assist ALS' customers through telephone support on product and service information; troubleshooting product and service issues and selling products and services.

Duties

  • Troubleshoot point of sale equipment and peripherals from equipment issues to transaction failures
  • Understand and explain specific application functions on any installation platform from POS, WEB POS to Internet
  • Update customer records
  • Order supplies for POS equipment
  • Perform telephone facility surveys, installations and trainings
  • Answer inbound sales calls for Hunting and Fishing licenses
  • Other duties as assigned

Skills and qualifications

Require 6–12 months customer service experience with good communication and customer etiquette skills

Require experience using Windows 98, 2000, NT or greater

Require hands-on experience with web-based software or Internet navigation

Require good to excellent typing skills

Require good problem solving skills to resolve customer problems in a timely manner

Require individuals with quality and team work focus in their job performance

Spanish-language specialists highly desirable

Full Time positions available now. Pay rate $10.00 per hour
Temp positions beginning 5/1/05. Pay rate $10.00 per hour
