The Business Systems Analyst (BSA) is primarily responsible for the gathering, analyzing, and documenting
of customer system requirements. The BSA is responsible for translating those requirements into design for
system functionality. The BSA will interface with stakeholders and all members of the project team to ensure
the feasibility, completeness and accuracy of resulting functionality. Involvement in the entire project
lifecycle at varying degrees is expected.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a must. The qualified candidate
should have a minimum of B.S. degree in MIS, CIS, Computer Science or related field and
3 – 5 years experience eliciting business requirements, documenting system requirements,
designing user functionality, back-end processes, business logic, etc for complex business
systems, such as accounting, healthcare, real-time point of sale or similar transaction
processing systems is necessary. The candidate will have experience creating system documentation,
such as use cases, functional design specifications, technical design specifications, or others.
This is a high profile position in a fast-paced environment. Ability to self-start and manage
competing priorities is important.
This is a technical position that requires a unique blend of people and technical skills. Required
technical skills include SQL and HTML. Some exposure to scripting languages, such as PHP, ASP, Perl,
etc is highly desirable. Full project lifecycle experience is necessary.
Microsoft Office experience, including Word, Excel, Access, Visio
Minimal travel may be required in connection with direct customer interactions.
